Keep yourself hydrated to keep our mouth’s environment deterrent to accumulation of bad bacteria. Ascorbic acid or vitamin C helps strengthen tissues, bones and teeth and it repairs them, as well.
Eating the right foods and avoiding the ones that is more likely to irritate oral tissues and cause red gums. Avoid tobacco products as these not only gives you red gums, it can also give you lung cancer not to mention the fact that it is expensive. Preventing gum disease to hit you is simple enough and more economical that letting bacteria run amuck in the mouth and would cost you big to get it treated.
